Our Mission:
Message from the Principal
Dear Parents,
Thank you for another great week. We had a very busy first week back from break. It was wonderful to see so many parents attend conferences. We all need to work together to ensure the success of our students. Have a great weekend.
Sincerely,
Dr. Jason Parrott

Dress your Children for Winter Weather
Please send your children to school with a warm coat, boots, snowpants, hat, mittens. The children will go out for lunch recess every day unless it is between 12 and 15 degrees factoring in the wind chill. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

(2) boxes are set up in the main office if you wish to donate new toys or new clothing of any kind to the Salvation Army. We will be accepting donations until December 15.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
Have a question:
In the beginning of the year, Oak Ridge had a Curriculum Night to explain what your child will be doing this year in school. We understand that questions will occur throughout the year and wanted to provide a forum for those questions to be answered. We are instituting an Online Curriculum Forum to answer any specific questions you may have. If you have a question regarding overall school procedures, grade level content, schools of choice, or special education services please click on the following Google form: http://goo.gl/forms/toJIVPxQBb. Please make sure all questions are appropriate. We are all a community here, and as a community we need to treat each other with respect. Answers to questions will be posted on a weekly basis.

From the desk of the Student Senate
We are pleased to announce that we have inaugurated the 2015-2016 Student Congress. We had so many students interested and were pleased with the effort that everyone put in that we wanted to give each student the opportunity to be a leader at Oak Ridge. In order to make this happen, we had to change the legislative body from one house to two.The Student Senate is no more and the Student Congress has been formed. We are looking forward to an exciting year of making our community a better place.
Sincerely,
Oak Ridge Student Senate
