Live from the LC
March 2023
Welcome March
March has arrived and with it, some hope of Spring to come.
Lets reflect, for just a moment, over the last 7 months. Can you look back and pinpoint some moments of achievement? What about moments of defeat? Those are important to remember as well! Don’t overlook the lessons you learned in those moments. Now, think forward for a moment. What do you wish to do with these last few months of this school year? How will your year play out? What can you do to change your trajectory, if need be? You have 3 months, 3 SHORT months to do this! What is holding you back? Fear of failure, rejection, or just complacency? I am challenging you to go for it! Don’t hold back. Take these last few months and shoot for the stars!
If you need a cheerleader, I will be that for you!
YOU CAN.
END OF STORY.
I hope you all have a marvelous March!

Civil Air Patrol Representative Visits the LC
This is an amazing opportunity for all students here. I am very thankful that the Civil Air Patrol offers this opportunity and accepted my application for our school.
If you've ever dreamed of being a pilot, this is the experience for you! I am currently working with a representative with the Civil Air Patrol on scheduling some sessions for students that are interested in diving deeper into learning how to fly! If this is you, please come see me and let me know you would like to be included in these sessions or fill out this form by clicking here. I will get back with you about when your session will be. There will be 4 students working with the representative at a time. Sessions last 30min-1hr each time you meet with him.
I am very excited about this addition and all the possibilities it opens up for our students!

What We're Up To
Still a Work In Progress!
Robots are coming! If you are into robotics and enjoy programming, then this next step of the Learning Commons renovation is for you!
I will be working this month to get our flooring put together and our Robots and other materials ready for you to try out!
Can’t wait to see how you put this area to use!
Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!
His first book was not the beloved Green Eggs and Ham, as most think. He got his start with the title And to Think that I Saw it on Mulberry Street in 1934. He went on to publish over 60 children’s titles that are still read and enjoyed by people of all ages.
Do you have a favorite Dr. Seuss book? If so, make time to find it and read it again just for the fun of it. Better than that, read it to or with someone else!
Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!
