Out to Eat for Education
For the last four years, GEF has encouraged the community to go out to eat on the day of the Ball High Homecoming Parade to promote school spirit and fill our local restaurants. In return, those restaurants contributed a percentage of their food sales to GEF. This year, due to the restaurant industry taking such a hard hit during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have chosen not to require donations from the restaurants in order to participate.Instead we will continue to support those businesses that have supported us and use this as an opportunity to spread the word about GEF! Our GISD teachers need additional resources now more than ever, as they navigate a completely new way of teaching our kids.
