Rosa Parks Elementary Rocket News
October 23, 2019
Hello Rocket Families!
We wanted to remind everyone report cards for the first nine weeks are in Skyward. If you have questions, comments, and/or concerns regarding your child's current performance, schedule to meet with your child's teacher for further conversation.
We also want to celebrate an amazing Fall Festival event. We had numerous parent and teacher volunteers and lots of smiling faces, fun, and laughter Friday evening. Thank you to everyone who helped make this PTO sponsored event happen. A thank you to all the families who came out and enjoyed in the fun!

Bully Prevention Month
We have lessons and activities scheduled for every Friday from our school counselor to talk with students about Bully Prevention.
Red Ribbon Week
The 2019 National Red Ribbon Week theme is: Send a Message. Stay Drug Free.
The theme is a call to action to speak out in support of healthy choices. The theme is also a reminder that by staying drug free, you are sending a message to yourself and others about how much you value yourself, your overall health, your community and your future. Be sure to view the October calendar. We want your child(ren) to join us in dressing out for Red Ribbon Week, October 28 - November 1. October calendar information found here
