JROTC and Toys for Tots
Happy Holidays! We wanted to share that St. James Army JROTC is partnering w/Socastee Air Force JROTC for the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots drive again this year. Mr. Poston and the principal of Socastee High School has made a bet on which school can collect the most for this worthy cause. They still haven’t decided the stakes, but it is on!
The primary goal of the Toys for Tots program is to distribute toys to children whose parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas in our local community.
We will be placing a bin at the front, bus loop, and student entrances starting Mon, 14 Nov thru Fri, 9 Dec. Ages for toys most needed are 0-12 years old. Please assist by putting new unwrapped toys in these drop off bins.
Help the Sharks beat the Braves! Please donate for this great cause!

2) End enter your Lowe’s Food Rewards card number (or use the simply “lock-up” function to search for your number using your phone number).
3) Select up to THREE schools to support, including SJHS of course 😊 All three schools benefit equally so there’s no reduction for SJHS if you choose three.

Now Is The Time to Check Attendance!
There are a few changes this year. First, 1 hour will equal 1 block. Saturdays will be from 8-11. If you attend from 8-11 that will be 3 blocks. For our late arrival students, during the 1st block, you will have the opportunity to work with the Grad Pack. If you are a late arrival student please see the Grad Pack in the Media Center to discuss your schedule with them. If you are an early release student, you will need to see the Grad Pack in the Media Center as well to have them work with your schedule.
Students, will not be able to do tutoring and make up time with individual teachers this year.
When attending tutoring and making up time, students will need to bring work with them. We will have teachers during this time that will be able to assist you with any work that you have.
If you have any questions, please see Mr. Hosfield.

If you are picking your student up early or they drive, please send a note and have your student bring to the Welcome Desk first thing in the morning. Students will be given a pass to leave class and meet you at the front. This helps with class disruptions and gets your child to the front in a timely manner. We truly appreciate your help.
