Ray Kroc's early life
Ray Kroc was born on October 5, 1902 in Oak Park, Illinois. He started a lemonade stand in front of his home, he spent a summer behind the soda fountain in his uncle's grocery store, and he worked in a grocery store. Kroc was a Red Cross Ambulance driver in WW1 and a milkshake machine salesman for 17 years.
I feel Ray Kroc was successful because he turned a small little burger stand into the largest fast food chain in America. He had 7,500 locations in 31 countries and was worth $8 billion. He impacted many peoples lives by creating delicious foods for everyone to enjoy.
