Ray Kroc's early life
Ray Kroc was born on October 5, 1902 in Oak Park, Illinois. He started a lemonade stand in front of his home, he spent a summer behind the soda fountain in his uncle's grocery store, and he worked in a grocery store. Kroc was a Red Cross Ambulance driver in WW1 and a milkshake machine salesman for 17 years.
McDonald's
Kroc founded McDonald's in 1955 outside of Chicago. His partners at first were the McDonald's brothers, Dick and Mac McDonald. The company originally started in San Bernardino, California as a small a small hamburger stand. For each franchise he sold, Ray collected 1.9 percent of the gross sales gave McDonalds one-half percent.McDonald’s had 7,500 locations in 31 countries and was worth $8 billion.

Ray Kroc is known for founding McDonald's and making delicious hamburgers, cheeseburgers, fries, milkshakes, and much more. Ray Kroc died of heart failure at Scripps Memorial Hospital in San Diego, California, on January 14, 1984. Students earned their degrees in "Hamburgerology" with a minor in french fries in the basement of McDonald's in Elk Grove, Illinois.
Personal Thoughts
I feel Ray Kroc was successful because he turned a small little burger stand into the largest fast food chain in America. He had 7,500 locations in 31 countries and was worth $8 billion. He impacted many peoples lives by creating delicious foods for everyone to enjoy.
