Senior Lecture Series:
Art Appreciation 101
Today is the Day!
Art, the thing you pretend to love, but don't seem to know the difference between MOnet and MAnet. This Senior Lecture Series is about teaching you a new life skill – specifically appreciating art.
Being able to appreciate art is an important life skill that few people have but is increasingly important as we become older. With this event, not only will we learn how to talk about art but also to appreciate it. This will be a compact lecture on key pieces in the Johnson Museum in order to get more comfortable engaging with artwork.
This event will be lead by the Johnson Museum's Andrew W. Mellon Coordinator of Student Engagement, Kari O'Mara.
