WHAT'S HAPPENING AT BLE
WINTER CONCERT DEC 5
Come join us for our winter concerts on today, Thursday, December 5th!
The Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grades will perform at 6 PM and need to be in their grade level hallway at 5:45 PM.
The 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grades (including band and choir) will perform at 7 PM and need to be in their grade level hallway at 6:45 PM.
Band students need to meet on stage at 6:30 PM with their instrument and music. Band and choir students should be dressed in black and white.
There will be no supervision in the hallways before these times, so please keep your children with you until that time.

POLAR PALS GIFT SHOP DEC 9-13
We are excited to announce the Polar Pals Gift Shop will be back this year!
This is an exciting opportunity for students to learn about handling money and purchasing fits for family and friends.
- Dates open are Dec. 9 through Dec.13 in the Library.
- Most items are “Kid Priced” $1 to $5
- Hours are 8:30 to 9:00AM, 12:00 to 1:00PM during recess club, and 4:00 to 4:45PM after school.
PTO HOLIDAY BAZAAR DEC. 14
Please join us for our 2nd Annual Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, Dec 14 from 10:00 to 4:00PM. It is the perfect opportunity to get some last minute shopping done!
- There will be 50 vendors and concessions
- The kids can write letters to Santa.
- Free pictures with Santa from 11:00 to 3:00PM!!!
WINTER BREAK STARTS DEC 20
BIG LAKE PARADE DEC 21
Mark your calendars: The Big Lake Elementary Choir will be caroling through the parade route on December 21st during the Big Lake Parade that evening. Time TBD. We will start at Big Lake Elementary and end at the Big Lake Lions Rec Center for ice skating, cocoa, cookies and Santa.
Come join us for some holiday fun!

This year is flying by! Students will all receive late/missing book notices before the break. Keep an eye out for any books you might find trying to hide on your bookshelves at home.
Next book fair will be in February! So many students asking already.
