Electrifying 4th Grade! By Saya Fundaba-O'Brien
Electrifying 4th Grade! By Saya
In science we are studying electricity, and static electricity. Static electricity is when you take a balloon and rub it on your head it makes friction and then it stays on the wall. What is happening is that stationary electricity charge happens because of the friction. In science we learned that lightning is electricity. We had fun with Mr. Brooks learning about static electricity!

2016 Walk to End Alzheimer’s Disease by Makenna
The Alzheimer’s walk is a two mile walk that raises money for
Alzheimer’s disease ( a bad disease that older people get and they forget a lot). Also lots of people died and suffered because of Alzheimer's disease. People in Ithaca asked people to sponsor them for a walkathon and the money they collected went to research cures for Alzheimer's disease.

Maker Space in the Library by Amelia
Have you ever been in the maker space? Well now you can because in the back of the Enfield library there is a room where kids can do science, technology, math, engineering and art activities. Fourth graders are building things like paper boats and planes and seeing how far they will go with the fan blowing. They also did experiments with electricity. Second graders made beds that were the right size for Goldilocks. All grades will be using it this year!
Halloween By Paullenna
Halloween
What do you like to do on Halloween? Some people like to eat candy. I like to eat candy because it is sweet and it is fun to get candy from all of the neighbors.
Some people like to dress up and go trick or treating and get candy on Halloween night.
Another fun thing to do is carve pumpkins and put a candle in it to make it look scary. Have you ever made food on Halloween? Homemade pumpkin pie and apple pie and ice cream are the best thing to eat on Halloween.
Enfield Book Fair by Arden
The Book Fair is a great way to have fun after school. You can get a brand new book with new adventures every day or you can get a nonfiction book like a lizard book .You can also get bookmarks, posters and stickers. Also the Book Fair will be open during the Enfield fair on October 1st. The Book Fair also raises a bunch of money for the library. The PTA gives money to teachers so the teachers can buy books for the Book Fair. What book did you buy? Come and tell me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
