What a wonderful Spring Music Festival we had! Our students' musical talents have flourished. Thank you for supporting our 4th and 5th grade students in our music and art programs. Thank you to our students for their resiliency and continued practice in growing their talents! Many thanks to our teachers, Ms. Trent, Ms. Rogers, Ms. Defeo, Mr. Rhodes, and Ms. Miller! Because of your passion and dedication to music, you have passed the torch to these fine young musicians!
Next week is exciting! We have one of the MOST wonderful school days on Friday...FIELD DAY!! Yes, this Super Hero Field Day is AWESOME!! The whole day is field with outside activities. Many thanks to Ms. Gates and Ms. Owens for planning and organizing this day. Many thanks to our many volunteers as we could not do this without you!!
Please note that we will celebrate Military Kids Day on Thursday, April 11, instead of Friday due to Field Day. Wear purple on Thursday as we celebrate these wonderful students!
Have a wonderful weekend and read a great book with your child!

Important Health Room Reminder
All medications need to be brought in by an adult to the health room in a current labeled bottle. All medications need a signed permission form to be given at school. Prescriptions also need a doctor's signature. Please make sure OTC medications are labeled appropriate for your child's age/weight. Please note that prescription refills should be brought in the new prescription bottle, and we will switch out the old one with you. We will count in front of you and calendar when refills will be needed. Thank you!

SUPERHERO FIELD DAY IS COMING!!
Super Hero Field Day is fast approaching, Friday, April 12th. As we plan for the event, we need volunteers to me to make it an awesome field day for our students. Below you will find a sign-up link. We need at least 40 volunteers for each three hour time slot. Lunch will be provided for those who volunteer. Please do note that if you haven't filled out the volunteer form, you need to fill out a form that can be picked up from Pansy Suddeth in the Main Office. Thank you so much for helping to make our Super Hero Field Day a successful and fun-filled day for our students.

COLLECTING OLD SHOES: 5th Grade Spring Service Project
Our 5th-grade spring service project is to collect old shoes. So clean out your closets and start looking under your beds for gently used shoes and turn them in to your child’s teacher or one of our collection boxes in the halls. Every pair you recycle means extra funds for CampMates, less landfill waste and the potential to connect us to a SoleMate! We are collecting shoes through the end of the school year.
