LIBRARY RULES
- MVMS ID cards are required to check out library books. Books are checked out for a period of 2 weeks and students may renew the book once for an additional two weeks. (The 'Due Date' card is in the pocket of the book.) Students are responsible for returning their books on time.
- Grade level textbooks are available for use in the library.
- Printing/Copy services are available for 10¢ per page for school related items. (Black & white copies only)
- No food or drinks are permitted in the library.
- Students will show respect to others in the library by maintaining a quiet atmosphere.
- All school rules apply, i.e: No gum chewing, hats removed, no cell phones, texting or iPods in use while in the library.
- All equipment and materials are to be used in an appropriate manner.
- Return all borrowed materials in good condition & in a timely manner.
- Any student not following the above rules may lose library privileges.
- Computers are available for school related use. Ask the Librarian.
- The library is a place for homework, studying, reading, or other quiet activities. If students wish to sit and talk, they must do this outside of the library.
