Thoughts & Ideas
We all have experienced challenging times during our mandatory school closure. I hope the Occupational Therapy Newsletters have been helpful in providing information related to motor and self regulation skills. As I have shared, there are many skills that occupational therapy addresses. These skills include: endurance, core stability, gross, fine motor, visual motor, visual perceptual and bilateral coordination skills; along with sensory processing and self regulation skills. Remember - play and participation in everyday activities facilitate learning. During play and daily living activities, academic information can be reinforced throughout all age levels.
Please find a variety activities that you can have fun with over the summer!
