  • There are many types of oatmeal such as:
  • Raw Oats- What oats look like before they are harvested,
  • Whole Oat Groats- These oats are simply harvested and have their inedible shells removed,
  • Steel Cut Oats- Are sometimes called Irish oatmeal
  • Scottish Oatmeal- Stone ground oats
  • Rolled Oats Regular- Created when oat groats are rolled and steamed
  • Rolled Oats Instant- These are thinner than regular rolled oats
  • Oat Flour- Can be used in baking
