State Testing Updates

Proctors, please make sure you are answering emails from your site lead in a prompt manner and are helping with any tasks assigned by the lead. Site leads will also need support reaching any families that have not confirmed.

NWEA Updates

Our NWEA plan is set to have our boot camps in April and official NWEA testing starting the week of May 2nd. An Outlook appointment has be sent with all the details for the week of the 2nd including specific times. Our goal will be to review scores as soon as they become available and retest the week of May 2nd if possible.

We will have our FAST team and NR Support to help with tracking down students for make-ups and proctoring those make-up testing sessions. They can also help with retests if needed as well.

Re-registration for SY1617

Re-registration for families is open from March 24 - June 24. FAST and the Student's First Team will be leading this initiative for now. Teachers do not to do anything at this time. Stay tuned for more information regarding re-registration.

DIBELS End of Year

Teams should start thinking ahead to our DIBELS EOY window. It runs from May 2nd - June 13th. We'll have to work around NWEA and MSTEP, so start discussing how teams can work together to achieve our 95%!

Staffing Updates

I would like to welcome Stacea McKeever, Rachel VanBuren, and Jessica Biehl to our MVCA family! Stacea will be serving as our Homeless Liaison. Rachel is our newest Intervention Specialist, and Jessica is our new Data Coach!

As of Friday, April 1st, Sara Ferguson is no longer with MVCA. Careen Lomago will continue to serve as our Special Programs Manager for the time being. We wish Sara the best of luck on her future endeavors.
