Youth News Update
Schedules and the Super Bowl!
Super Bowl Party?
We had fun at youth group this past Sunday, playing some minute-to-win-it games and sharing in the lesson that Sandy brought.
The youth want to have a Super Bowl party on Sunday evening, February 1 and we need your help! To have a party, we need someone to volunteer to host. All you need is a TV with NBC - no Patriot or Seahawk loyalty required! The church can provide food for this party - pizza, drinks, cups and plates. We just need a home to host.
If you are willing to host the party, please contact Estee in the church office - estee@saginawumc.org or 817-232-0390 by January 25. We also need a few adult volunteers to help, so if you can attend and support the host, please let Estee know that also. If no one is able to host the party, youth group will take an evening off on February 1.
Kick-off is at 5:30 pm, so let's see if we can make it happen!
Youth Group Volunteer Support
Thank you volunteers!
Thank you to all those who were able to be present on January 4th for the initial conversation about the future of youth ministry at SUMC. It is our prayer that it was time well spent for you and that you were able to share your thoughts and feelings. We agreed on the following schedule for Sunday School teachers, and Sandy Cox graciously agreed to facilitate Sunday evening youth group through the end of February.
Please know if there are other things that you would like to share, do not hesitate to email us. Estee@saginawumc.org and/or Jason@saginawumc.org
