Magers Health
I tell you all of this because I am transparent, and consider you all my Sherwood family. No need to worry, everything will be OK it's just a bump in the road. On Monday and Tuesday, April 15th & 16th I have injections at Mercy but will do this early in the morning and will be at work both days after. I will be out Wednesday-Monday, April 17th-19th & 22nd. Adam Meador was gracious enough to switch days with us so that Misty will be here every day that I am out. So that week, it will be me on Monday and Tuesday and Misty the remainder of the week. I will be in isolation these days, and am unable to see anyone but should be available by email those days.
I'm happy to answer questions if you have any, and hate to miss but need to take care of this health issue sooner rather than later. I appreciate your support!
Next Year's SPLS Team:

If you applied and did not have the highest score, please don't worry-there will be many opportunities for leadership on our Vertical Teams next year and committees. I appreciate ALL leaders in this building, and strongly feel that it takes many leaders to steer this ship!

I was able to hear the principal present at MAESP and was intrigued by this intervention which is based on research tied to students who are currently experiencing trauma or have experienced trauma and the brain's ability to retain information. This intervention is for upper grades, however it can easily be translated to lower grades. If you are available to attend, please do! We would love to have you!
EOY MATH Instructional Configuration
For your observation: Please have small group lesson plans, data which includes how you shift students from group to group, and conferencing data out and available.
MAP TESTING WEEKS: LUNCH SUPERVISION SCHEDULE BELOW:
3-5 MAP Resources from Catherine Castillo
I have formatted the report to make each domain a different color and bolded the rows of question types other than multiple choice (I have also added the expanded expectations to these). You might use this to dig deeper into which standards need extra emphasis. The resources are linked below.

3rd-5th Grade Teachers,
Are you curious what standards were assessed on the MAP test last year?
The spreadsheet below will show you the standards, session number, depth of knowledge, and question type from our Item Analysis Summary.

I have aligned each standard to the released items for practice, sample stems, and i-Ready resources for you as you prepare for this year's MAP!
