Ben Eielson Families,
This week is the final week of the this grading term, the end of the spring 2nd quarter for junior high students and the end of the spring 1st semester for high school classes. The term ends Friday March 5th, the final quarter will start on Monday March 15th. We have a special rotation for classes Thursday and Friday. Thursday only classes 1 and 2 will meet, everyone attends 1st period for 2 hours and then based on who a student has for 2nd period will determine if they will attend SSP or lunch to allow for social distancing during lunches.

Thursday March 4th Final Exam Schedule - Periods 1 and 2
Thursday everyone attend 1st period for a 2 hour block, after the passing period, the groups are based on a students' 2nd period class. You will follow the times/classes by who you have 2nd period.
For example, if you have Mr. DeVaughn for 2nd period on Thursday you will attend your 1st period class from 9:15 to 11:15, then attend Mr. DeVaughns SSP class (which is your 2nd period teacher), then lunch followed by your Period 2 exam with Mr. DeVaughn from 12:45-2:45.
If you have a teacher from 'group 2' you will attend:
your 1st period class - 9:15 to 11:15,
then you will go to lunch at 11:20 to 11:50,
then you will go to 11:55 to 1:55 (your period 2 final)
then you will attend your SSP from 2pm to 2:45pm.
Friday March 5th - Period 3 Final Exam - Early Dismissal
Friday students attend their 3rd period class for their final from 9:15 to 11:15. Students may leave for the day if they have transportation after 11:15, or they may stay for lunch and SSP. Which lunch you have is based on the group of teachers listed. If you have for example Mr. Nunley for your SSP class you will attend your 3rd period class and then attend your SSP with Mr. Nunley from 11:20-11:55 and then lunch from 12 to 12:30.
After 12:30 students remaining in the building for buses or transportation will be in one of two areas, the library or the cafeteria for the rest of the day to allow teachers to grade exams.
Congratulations Ashley Soto - 2nd place finisher in regional Math Counts competition.
