We are constantly surrounded by alcohol as teenagers. We like to socialize. There are many ways to avoid drinking and driving or getting in a car with someone who is driving drunk.
1. If you know someone Is likely to drink, make sure that they are not the driver.
2. Download the Uber app in your phone and your friends phones.
3. Hold your friends keys if they are drinking.
4. Phone a friend if you have no ride and you have been drinking.
These are simple ways to avoid drinking and driving. Not be happy at the time but they will thank you later.
How can I make an impact?
Peer pressure effects a lot of people. Be that person that stands up to peer pressure and acts confident in your decision. When acting confident in your decision many people will look at you with more respect. This is a good behavior to have. By standing up for what you believe in it changes people's lives. Making sure that your friends don't drink and drive you also make sure that their families can stay together and not have to deal with the senseless loss because of drinking and driving.
