Principal's Message
Last week was another very fruitful week with our scholars! Everything from great feedback and next steps from our Instructional rounds to celebrating how our partners invest over 200k into our school to support the whole child! We have to thank our amazing SSE Cate team, with special emphasis on Demetra and Yezenia for coordinating our SSE & Co. themed breakfast as a way to thank our partners and volunteers.
As we reflect for the end of the year, also take time think of how we connect with parents to work hand in hand to support their child. What are ways we can continue to improve on for the following years?
To follow through, end of year EOY MAP testing begins this week. May all of our students demonstrate dramatic growth!
We are a multiple measures school district and the measures we gauge student achievement are the following:
- MAP Growth in tested areas
- STAAR
- TELPAS
- PANORAMA Survey
- Grade Level Priority Standard Assessments
As we schedule for your summative conferences, be prepared to speak to each of these points and present how your class is growing, what your end of year target aims are and will be.
Finally, please note that we will have our final CIT meeting of the year and it will take place from 3:00-5:00 to thoroughly review our CIP.
Have a great learning week with your kids!
With love, respect, and admiration,
Rachel Martinez
