Inspiring a lifelong, insatiable desire to learn: What Doerre is Reading
In the spirit of fostering a culture of reading on campus, we will be making signs to jump start conversations about reading. This allows your students see you as not only their teachers, but as a reader too. Think about the amazing books talks that will stem from this!
Your sign will be laminated so you can put it outside your door, and update it as the books you are reading changes.
What we need from all of you:
To make sure I get everyone’s names correct, please fill out this form of how you would like your name to appear on your sign. (ex: if Kessler would prefer hers to say Mrs. Mac instead of McClanahan because that’s what her students call her)
Any questions can be directed to Mrs. Authement (Room 203)

Counselor's Corner
Welcome back to the new year! There have been some changes in our Counseling Department.
In order for students to request to see a counselor they will need to submit a Grade Level Request form. The Counselors have signs posted in classrooms, the cafeteria, and restrooms with QR codes for students and staff use. Also, students can access the Request Form in their grade level Schoology folder. All students will need to complete the Counselor Request in order to see a Counselor. Also, you may refer to their grade level Counselor by submitting the form. Submit a request if you feel like a student is in need of a visit with the counselor for academic, personal, or any other reason you think is warranted. If it is an emergency situation, please submit the Counselor Request, email the grade level secretary to ensure we are available, and we will assist you as soon as possible. There are links for each of the forms on the Doerre Dashboard under Counselor Information and Bit.lys:

Flexible Learning Environments:
As we work to provide flexible learning pathways for our students, the physical space should be part of the conversation. And in an era when companies are creating comfortable, open, and flexible spaces to encourage collaboration and work efficiency it only makes sense that our classrooms would change too. So let’s get started!
