Weekly Update for Parents, September 8, 2019
We are excited to be teaching your child in Sunday School this year. Each week, we will try to share a little of what is going on in our class. Hopefully you will enjoy the brief update and maybe it will be helpful as you and Sixer talk faith at home!

Reece wins this week's "Early Bird Award"
This week's lesson was "Part 1" of a 2 part lesson on boldness!
We asked the question: What are some barriers that keep us from being bold?!
We read scriptural encouragement to boldness from Hebrews 4:16, Ephesians 3:12, Joshua 1:9 and Deuteronomy 31:6.
We also talked about examples of boldness we see in in the lives of some Biblical characters. Maybe ask your Sixers who are are some of the folks we discussed?
This week's Big Idea was "Believers in God are called to be Bold!"
