How to Escape Medusa

Steps to surviving the mythical greek creature, Medusa.

Introduction

Medusa was one of the three sisters, the Gorgons, once a beautiful maiden. Medusa had an affair with Poseidon and they decided to meet in Athena's temple. Athena turned her into a monster with snakes for hair and can turn any mortal into stone whenever they stare into her eyes. Perseus later cut off her head and mounted it on Athena's shield, the Aegis.

Medusa is known for turning mortals into stone. The temptation of looking into Medusa's eyes is the cause for many mortal deaths. Keep your eyes closed or stare into a reflection.

STEP 4: Don't fall under peer pressure

Once Medusa catches you, she'll try to convince you to stare into her eyes. Keep your eyes closed and don't let your emotions and curiosity get the best of you.

step 5: Catch her off guard

Medusa can not turn you into stone while looking at her through a reflection. The best way to kill Medusa is to catch her off guard or while she is sleeping. In order to kill Medusa, you decapitate her head from her body. She can turn people to stone even after her head is decapitated.
