Fifth Grade Celebration Day! May 23rd
Recognition will be from 8:30 - 9:00 - Siblings and other family members can attend.
From 11:00 -12:30 - there is a lunch and yard games for students and parents only.
12:30 -1:30 is the staff/parents VS students kickball game.
Service Day 2023!
CLASS Our students in the ClASS program collected items to be donated to Miller Park. Students delivered those items on Service Day then celebrated at the park! | Kindergarten Kindergarten students put together hygiene bags filled with toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant and many other items. All hygiene bags were donated to Lee’s Summit Social Services. | First Grade First grade put together Birthday Parties in a Bag. Each bag has everything that a parent would need to celebrate their child’s birthday! First grade made 113 bags and all bags are being donated to a food pantry in Lee’s Summit. |
CLASS
Kindergarten
Second GradeSecond grade made dog toys to be donated to the Lee’s Summit Animal Shelter. Lee’s Summit Animal Control also came to meet with the students and answer questions. | Third GradeThird grade students went to Wayside Waifs animal shelter. While at the shelter students learned about the different pets at the shelter and how they are cared for. Each class completed a service project to help support Wayside Waifs. Students also collected items on the “wish list” to donate to Wayside Waifs. | Fourth GradeFourth grade students collected items to be donated to Children's Mercy. Students created Happy Kits from children to use during their stay at the hospital. Kits included items such as; crayons, markers, puzzles, fidgets and activity books. |
Second Grade
