Saudi Arabia also strictly follows the dietary restriction of Islam, and haram foods and drinks are not allowed. The dietary restrictions hold true for foreigners living or visiting Saudi Arabia, as well as citizens. Both pork and alcohol fall under the heading of haram; import, purchase or consumption of either of these is strictly illegal and punishable. Muslim woman in public are required to wear the full body abaya, generally Black, and the niqab, and a head piece that covers their whole head.
Foreigners are not required to wear this strict dress code,
But still expected to wear modest dress in public at all times.
