Principal's Message - Believe Kids Fundraiser Start Today

Dear Falcon Families,

Each fall, our school holds a fundraiser to directly benefit your child's classroom. Teachers use this money to fund enrichment activities throughout the school year. From the items sold, the classrooms will profit over 40% of each total order. In the past, our teachers have used this money to fund field trips, art and science enrichment activities and technology programs.

By today, your child should have brought home a fundraiser packet that includes the Holiday Sales Catalog. While I encourage all students to participate, please know this is a family choice.

If your family chooses to take part in this fundraiser, I stress to them that students must only sell to friends and family. I do not want children selling door to door. The easiest way to share this fundraising information is to do so online with your close acquaintances. Please look for the link in your fundraiser packet. With online ordering you can reach friends and families across the nation. They can pay for their products online and and their orders can be shipped for free to their house.

Of course these type of fundraisers incentivize students to sell items and they can win prizes. This information is also included in their packets. Parents, please note there are coupons to fill out and sign that coincide with the number of items your student sells. Students may bring these signed coupons to the school office during their lunch recess to choose an Oinkster keychain.

This fundraiser technically ends on November 12th. Because this day is a staff development day, I ask that all fundraising orders and any money collected during in person ordering be turned into your child's teacher or the school of office no later than Monday, November 15th.

If you have any questions about this optional fundraiser, please contact the Pinewood School office.
