Hello HMS Families,

Like always, I hope this newsletter finds you all happy and healthy. We've been really busy over here at HMS with tons of learning and fun. If you have any questions about any information in this newsletter, please feel free to call the HMS main office at (708) 458-7590.

As a reminder, please do not send your child to school before 7:30 am. Also, with the cold weather, please make sure your child is leaving home in warm clothing.

Amazing Cookies & Snacks

Hi everyone, if you would like to place an order for our school fundraiser for Amazing Cookies and Snacks, the order deadline is extended to Monday, November 21, 2022. You can bring order forms to school that day, or see Ms. Roseen in Room 49. If you'd like to order online, please go to Our school code is T28SS, and you can place an order under Ms. Roseen's name.   • Happy Thanksgiving to all of Heritage families! Please celebrate togetherness and make sure to take a walk after Thanksgiving dinner.

  • Dental forms must be turned in no later that on Monday, 11/28/22. Any students who bring dental forms in after Monday will not be serviced.

  • Cold & Flu season is in full swing, please keep sick students at home!

  • Students should stay home until they are well enough to participate and are fever free for 24 hours without fever reducing medication.

  • RSV is very active this year. RSV is a common cold virus that can become very serious for those with health issues like asthma.

  • Handwashing, covering your coughs and sneezes, and using hand sanitizer when soap and water are not available are a must!

  • Covid home test kits will continue to be given to students sent home with covid symptoms.

  • Staff and community PCR testing will no longer be offered at HMS/Graves.

Sports Update

Boys Varsity Basketball Won 1st game of the season last night at home against Heritage Berwyn 35-34! Congrats!

Next home game is November 29th start time: 4:30pm!

7th Grade Girls Basketball team is playing in regionals tomorrow (11/19/22) at 9:00 am at Vito Martinez Middle School in Romeoville.
