What is Government?
Government is important to our country. It helps our country survive. Government helps our country to important make decisions. The Government is made up of 3 branches. Those branches are the Judicial, Legislative, and Executive branches. Let me tell you about them.

The Judicial Branch
The Judicial Branch is lots of judges and courts. The highest court is the Supreme Court. They also interpret the laws that the congress has. They are appointed into the branch and then agreed by the Senate.
The Legislative Branch
The Legislative is called the Congress. The branch is made up of the Senate and of the House of Represetatives. The branch writes the laws and votes. It is called Legislation. There are many powers of Congress. Such as declaring war.
The Executive Branch
The President holds the power of the branch. Parts of the branch include, the Vice President, the Executive Office of the President, and the Cabinet. All the Presidents of the United States are the leaders of the U.S. government.
