School Picture Retakes
Picture Retake day is Wednesday, October 18th. K5 - 5th grade individual photos will be taken in the morning and 4K photos will be taken as soon as they arrive at 12:30 pm. If you had a picture package delivered and you would like to have retakes done, just send your child with the original photo package and make sure they hand it to the photographer when they have their photo taken.

Y Base Care
Are you looking for after school care on Early Release Day, Wednesday, October 25th?
Our Y Base Care has care available but you must be pre-registered. See the attached FLYER if you are interested. Current participants must pre-register as well.

Trunk or Treat Opportunity
Hillcrest Families Invited to Trunk or Treat
A parent group is organizing a Trunk or Treat event on the Hillcrest playground on Wednesday, October 25th from 4:00-5:30 PM. All Hillcrest students and families are welcome to wear their costumes and join the fun on the blacktop to the north side of the school building! Parking is available in the lot (be careful of wet or muddy spots) and volunteers are needed to make this event a success. Please contact Dawn Pelej via email at email@example.com for more details.
Christmas Clearing Council
Christmas toys and/or clothing for children
The Christmas Clearing Council is now accepting applications for families in need! This program is available for families in Waukesha County with children ages 0-18 who qualify for the reduced lunch program. Please stop in the office to pick up an application or contact the School Psychologist, Sarah Brilliant, at 970-1544. The deadline to apply is November 22nd.
Show Waukesha Police that you Appreciate Them!
The Waukesha Citizens' Police Academy Association (WCPAA - click here for their facebook page) will be hosting appreciation luncheons for our officers in late October, and they are asking to you to help us decorate & celebrate with displays of heartfelt thanks! Please help us tell these public servants how much we appreciate the work they do to keep our neighborhoods & city safe!
The WCPAA is looking to have students make cards, posters, "books", centerpieces or other any other artwork thanking the officers for their hard work and dedication in serving our community!
