Message from Mrs. Wilken
Dear Trailblazer Families,
This week on campus our 3rd - 5th graders begin their statewide testing. We are excited for the opportunity for our students to show what they know!
This Friday we are so excited to have an outside family movie night. This event is sure to be a great time. It is sponsored by the student council and free for all Stone Ranch families. Please your blankets, chairs and some spare change for the candy table! See the flyer below and I hope to see everyone at the movies! :)
Thank you to all who have filled out our safety summit survey. If you haven't done so yet, there is still time. We will use those responses to guide our informational event. Details to come soon.
Keep your eyes open for the next family survey on class placements. It will be coming out at the beginning of May and open for just 1 week.
We have changed the format of the Blazer Bulletin to include a table of content and no section titles. Hopefully this format will be helpful in being able to quickly see what is in the bulletin and where you might find it.
As always, proud to be your principal,
Mrs. Wilken

Spring Fling - Don't Wait to Participate in our Biggest FUNdraiser of the year!
This year our Stone Ranch Foundation will have a Gala Dinner along with a live auction and silent auction. We will be holding the online auction from May 13th-20th and closing with a live event at the Bernardo Winery on May 20th. It is an exciting auction benefiting our wonderful school and students. All donations/purchases are tax-deductible since the Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. There are some awesome items and experiences up for auction this year!
Tickets are $85 if you purchase by April 21 and $100 after, with ticket sales closing on May 5th. Your ticket includes appetizers, dinner and dessert and an open bar with beer, wine, sangria and specialty sodas! Plus, yard games, a Wine Walk, music and a live auction supporting Stone Ranch Elementary! In addition, Kelly Lasho, famed teacher/photographer, will once again be photographing kids in advance with portraits on sale that night! Here is a link to purchase tickets http://biddingforgood.com/stoneranchfoundation .
This fundraiser is vital to continue important programs and provide support staff, including our PE teacher, Impact Teachers and Literacy Aides for the benefit of all of our students. We hope to raise enough funds to bring back all of our past programs and staff and hope to fund a STEM teacher to utilize all the amazing resources in our M-Building STEM lab!
Hope to see you there!

PUSD 2023-2024 Continuing Student Registration will open up in May!
Our goal is 100%. We are at 95% of our current families having completed continued registration for their child/ren.
Please help us make sure all our current kiddos have a seat at stone ranch next year!
We MUST receive a completed digital packet for all returning students. This will allow for proper placement of your student for the 2023-2024 school year. This annual digital process will allow a family to complete one single “family” packet instead of completing one packet per student. Packets can be completed using any computer, tablet or smartphone with an internet connection.
Continuing Registration Steps:
1. Login and complete the digital registration packet online at the ParentVue portal: https://sis.powayusd.com/Packet
2. Review and complete the required forms located at the conclusion of the process. A packet is not considered finalized until this step is completed.
Please note: MEDICATION FORMS or ADDITIONAL SIGNED SITE SPECIFIC FORMS WILL NOT BE COLLECTED UNTIL SCHOOL BEGINS IN AUGUST FOR THE 2023-2024 SCHOOL YEAR.

Please email your current Principal as soon as possible if you do not plan to return to PUSD for the 2023-2024 school year.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this important process. We are looking forward to a fantastic 2023-2024 school year!
Our STEM labs have been coming back to life this year and we are excited for all students to come design, create, engineer, and learn in these modern learning classrooms - if you are able and interested in purchasing items for donation, here are some things our teachers are hoping to have in the labs. We will also be having a consumable materials collection the week we get back from spring Break... see flyers below for details!

Thank YOU to Community Partner!
Thank you to our Community Partner sponsor, Dr. Ellen Im Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics for their generosity and support! Dr. Im has once again partnered with the Stone Ranch PTA and Stone Ranch Foundation to provide each student with a green “Responsibility” character t-shirt.
