Understanding Grief to Better Support Students, Families, and Educators
Grief is a process that happens when we experience a loss. We may experience grief when we lose a loved one or when our expectations, roles, plans, and dreams change. Indiana’s Project AWARE team is excited to announce an upcoming webinar which will serve as an educational overview of the grief process. Specifically, Avon Community School Corporation’s Mental Wellness Team will discuss how they have shared information about grief with adults and students in the Avon community in an effort to proactively address the collective grief brought on by COVID-19.
