6TH & 7TH GR. BAND CONCERT - TIME CHANGE

Good afternoon all.

After talking with various coaches, the concert will remain on Tuesday, March 12th. We are changing our start time to 7:30.

Concerning the middle school track meet in Kimball. The track kids will be able to do both the track meet and the band concert. Those students who are in both will compete in the earlier events, and ROCORI will send one bus home, from the track meet, early. Meaning, the track kids will be back at ROCORI in time for the concert.

Concerning 7th grade softball and baseball. Those are home games. The games will be done long before the band concert begins

Thank you

Tony Hutar

LOCAL MUSHER, MIKE BESTGEN VISITS ROCORI 7TH GRADERS

March 31, 2022 was a fun day for the 7th grade students at RMS. Mike Bestgen, a local musher from St Cloud, and his lead dog, Magnum, came to visit. The English classes have been reading Gary Paulsen's memoir about the Iditarod and learning about mushing from Mike was a great addition to the unit. Mike is an experienced musher who loves to share his story with young people. Mike has visited with our 7th graders for the last 10 years, minus the last two due to illness and surgery. We are thankful he was able to visit with us this year!

Please refer to your Family Access Account to view your child’s report cards/grades to see what classes they have failed for Trimesters 1, 2 and what they may be endanger of failing for Trimester 3.

Summer School Letters will be going out to those students the week of April 4th.
