"Have you ever blurted out song lyrics related to something in your classroom? You are not alone! I thought I would share 25 songs that will support your instruction! Whenever my students would say something or do something and a lyric came to mind, I started singing! My students quickly caught on and by the end of the year, we were all looking for things related to a lyric. We even made up parodies related to things we were doing in class. Since this was such a big hit in my class, I thought I would include what we used as well as ideas from fellow teachers. I am so impressed with what teachers come up with to engage their students. TEACHERS GOT TALENT! After you start using lyrics in your class, I promise your students will remember you forever!
This song list is subject-related. I broke them into categories for READING/WRITING and MATH. You might see the same song in different categories and that’s ok! The possibilites are endless!"

How to Disable In-App Ratings & Reviews on iPhone & iPad
- Open the “Settings” app from your iPhone or iPad home screen.
- Scroll a little bit down and tap on “iTunes & App Store”
- Here, if you scroll down you’ll see the option to turn off “In-App Ratings & Reviews”, which is enabled by default as you can see in the screenshot below. Simply tap on the toggle to disable the pop-ups.
It’s worth noting here that disabling in-app ratings & reviews wouldn’t stop all your apps from displaying pop-ups. It’ll only work with the vast majority of the apps that have been updated to use Apple’s recent API, which restricts the apps to display no more than three such pop-ups within a 365-day period. Several older apps that haven’t been updated in a while will remain unaffected by the toggle and apps could still use other means to request for a rating or review.

And here is an Escape room Activity Created by Tracee Orman on Teachers Pay teachers (TPT)
- Engage your students with a fun escape room activity based on The Hunger Games novel! My escape room activity is easy to set up and doesn't require special equipment to use. Students are placed into the 74th Hunger Games and will have to think their way out! Tasks range from puzzles and word scrambles to identifying types of figurative language devices used in the novel. It's a nice mix of textual content and brain teasers.
- My escape room activity includes six stations (two are optional if you are pressed for time): the Opening Ceremony, the Lake, the Woods, the Grass Field, the Cornucopia, and the Closing Ceremony.
- Students will work in small groups and the entire challenge should take around 30-45 minutes using all six stations.
- Full directions, examples, and teacher answer key included. I included Oops! cards and Hint cards in case you need to slow down or speed up a group. I also included certificates for the winners (Victors) and participants (Survivors).
- This is included in my Hunger Games Mega Bundle pack.
