TPCS 2016-2017 Tuition Rates & Fees

Dear Parents & Guardians,
Linked here is the 2016-2017 Tuition & Fee Chart that details student tuition and fees for the next academic year. The Board of Directors has endorsed and approved tuition increases between 1.0% and 4.0% for the 2016-2017 academic year. These increases are reflective of the cost of living and will be used to fund items that were identified in the parent and staff survey: Attract and retain high quality staff, improve the appearance and functionality of current facilities, increase the use of technology in the classrooms, and improve our offerings in the lunchroom. These increases are well below the increases taken by other comparable schools in our area.
The following is a brief overview of changes in tuition for next academic year:
1. Tuition amounts for 2016-2017 will increase $30 or less per month.
2. The Books/Technology/Transportation fees have not increased.
3. Tuition deposits have been maintained at prior year levels.
The linked 2016-2017 Tuition & Fee Chart provides the annual payment amount for your planning purposes. Full information about tuition and fees is on our website at TPCS Tuition & Fees. Families continue to have annual, monthly, and semi-monthly payment options. We still offer a 1% discount for families paying the full year up front by June 1, 2016. Tuition assistance, Indiana School Choice Scholarships (voucher) and merit scholarships are also available for qualified families.
Families wanting to apply for tuition assistance should do so no later than April 1, 2016. Instructions on how to apply may be found at the bottom of the linked chart. The Financial Assistance Review Committee will review applications for assistance and make awards in mid-April. Families may continue to apply for assistance after April 1, but most awards will be made during April. Subsequent awards will be made if funds are available. There are also merit scholarships available in a number of areas - that information is on the TPCS website.
As a reminder, you may enroll your student(s) for the 2016-2017 academic year through your parent RenWeb account between February 15 - 29. Our admissions department will send each family instructions and a direct link to the online enrollment prior to February 15th.
