Egg Harbor Township High School
Week of April 26, 2020
From Our Principal
Greetings EHTHS,
Welcome to another edition of the High School Weekly Newsletter. I am so proud of what our faculty and staff have accomplished with our virtual learning! As we navigate through these uncertain times our staff has made a difference. Students have learned what is expected and are reporting to class and doing assignments. I think we got this!! I can not begin to thank all of you for doing your part and making this a success.
Now, moving onto some more good news, our school district budget for the 2020-2021 school year was passed on Tuesday evening. I am looking forward to some of the great things that we will see in EHT in the upcoming year. For now, let’s focus on finishing this year, and if you continue to scroll down you will see that amazing things continue to happen even now in the unknown! Seniors are getting college acceptance letters and looking forward to their future. Teachers like our very own Ms. Motevcalvo and Mr. Milnes are receiving awards that will benefit our students. Our athletes continue to work hard with the hope for even a short season.
Let’s continue to shine bright, have hope, and look for the silver lining! No one knows the future, but let's continue to be hopeful that this Covid-19 crisis will pass and we in EHT will be stronger than ever as a community.
Until next week, stay safe, be well, continue to dream of the possibilities ahead of us, be happy and smile at someone!
Ms Connor

Ms. Montecalvo awarded TangerKids Arts Grant
Our own Wendy Montecalvo was notified that she was awarded 1,350.00 as a winner of the TangerKids Arts Grant.
According to Ms. Montecalvo she wrote the grant to expand the special ed art classes by introducing WEAVING. The hands on art is extremely important to the Special Education kids for their dexterity and eye/hand coordination. The Grant will fund the weaving looms, the yarns and practice looms for learning. The project also includes a family night to share the production and the process.
Congrautlations, Ms. Montecalvo! We are very proud of you.
