Scholarships Exclusively for Woodside High School or SUHSD Seniors

$1,000 Philip T. Tran Scholarship

Seniors who have demonstrated the values of family, generosity, hard work, and humility while demonstrating academic excellence (cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher) and are planning to apply to a 4-year college can be considered for this scholarship. The application is available on Naviance or in D-9 and must be postmarked by 3/31. This scholarship is open to seniors graduating from a high school within the Sequoia Union High School District. Complete the application by 3/31/2020.

Woodside Fire Protection District Memorial Scholarship Due 4/27/2020

Graduating WHS seniors with 3.0+ GPA and plans to attend a post-secondary institution can submit this application to zmatavulj@seq.org with the following items: a 500-word essay and one letter of recommendation from a teacher/counselor/administrator. This $1,000 scholarship honors the memory of all those who have served the Woodside Fire Protection District over the past 85 years.

Scholarships For Specific Career Interests, Qualifications, or Heritage

$1,500 Scholarship for Seniors Planning to Attend University in the US

The El Gabe Ritter Scholarship is open to seniors planning to attend university in the US and currently have a 3.0+ GPA. Applicants must complete the online application and a 500+ word statement as to why an education is important to the applicant by discussing how a challenge that the applicant has overcome has prepared them for future challenges as they pursue their education.The application is due by 06/30/2020.
