Terrier Times Weekly Parent Updates
September 14, 2020
A Message from the Principal
Dear Ramona Parents,
We loved seeing you join us for Back to School events with your teachers and administrators during the past two weeks – our School Board President was with us, too, and shared that it was the highlight of her day! Thank you so much for all your support and patience through these challenging times coping with the COVID-19 pandemic the best that you can. It’s not easy for any of us, but we’re constantly making adjustments to improve our services for you and your children, such as not needing to use your lunch ID cards anymore – just let us know in the drive through how many children between the ages of 1 to 18 need a lunch and we’ll take care of you. Also, you’ll be seeing mid-trimester grade progress reports being mailed to you next week, or accessible on your parent portal account through the district or school website. We’ve also got our Ramona Booster Club providing a Buy One Book, Get One Free deal at our bookfair in front of our cafeteria through next Monday from 11am – 1pm. All students are also receiving consumable work packets through this week so that they have more ways to show evidence of their learning as they would in a regular classroom setting. All in all, we’re making headway toward optimizing learning for all of our students, so keep up the great effort on the homefront, and hand-in-hand with our Terrier Team of capable staff members, we’ll get through this successfully together!
