Short Week

We have a short week this week. Let's stay on our toes and be intentional as the break has not yet started and we can still teach and maintain our expectations.


Report Cards are Due on Mar 30 at 4:00 pm


Awards Ceremony is Scheduled for April 1st

Awards Criteria

Please read carefully. For example if a student has tardies they should not receive a perfect attendance award. Awards Ceremony is on April 1st.


For the K-2nd Grades:


Most Improved: One (1) per class (this is up to the teacher in any area whether is be behavior, math, attendance, etc...)

Academic Award: Three (3) awards per class (Defined by the Highest Reader in class the the two most improved readers)

Perfect Attendance: Perfect means no tardies or absences at all
Great Attendance: Two absences or less, 3 tardies equals one absence.
Citizenship: Two (2) students per class, no write ups.



For the 3rd-5th grades:


Most Improved: One (1) per class, (this is up to the teacher in any area whether is be behavior, math, attendance, etc...)
Honor Roll: 3.0 or Above
Perfect Attendance: Perfect means no tardies or absences at all
Great Attendance: Two absences or less, 3 tardies equals one absence.

One Grandmother, One Difficult Child, One Story of Conscious Discipline Success

Host Families Needed

Families needed to host Japanese youth for one month this summer. This is a 4-H program and dates are from July 21-August 18. Host families should have children ages 10-16, the desire for an in-depth cultural experience and fun! Japanese delegates come with spending money and health insurance and are here to experience everyday life in an American family.
