Curriculum Night
Thank you to all who attended. We had a wonderful night of meeting teachers and seeing classrooms. If you have any questions regarding your child, please reach out to the teachers directly.
Parent partnerships in education are crucial for fostering a supportive and collaborative learning environment for children. There are two main areas of focus we are working towards with our students this year. Your reinforcement at home is vital to help strengthen these skill in your child as we work together for their success.
Two main areas of focus:
- We are working with our students regarding self-advocacy. A students ability to practice self-advocacy is a valuable skill that empowers them to take ownership of their education, communicate their needs, and advocate for their learning journey.
- Executive function skills, such as organization, time management, and problem solving, play an important role in a student's academic success and overall development. Please remind your student to carry their agenda with them to each class to help keep track of assignments and important dates.
