Letter to Parents from Dr. Jeanette Ball
The first day of school is less than two weeks away! We are collectively finishing up a challenging summer of strategizing and re-strategizing amid the issues COVID-19 has put upon us. I know, because of this, you are approaching the first day of school on August 24 with both anticipation and perhaps a sense of loss. I assure you, we are ready to welcome your children into our hearts - which remain open and caring and ready to support - even if they can’t be in our classrooms or hallways. To start things smoothly, we need to make sure you and your students are fully registered in our system, you either have a device your child can use or will be getting one from Judson ISD. We want to make sure that you have all the information you need to set up your child for success. Below you will find information that can help you prepare. Thank you for your support and patience. We look forward to the new school year.
Facebook Live Q&A with Dr. Ball and Senior Staff
We want to keep our Judson community as informed as possible as we come closer to the start of school. We will be hosting several more Facebook Live Q&A events and hope that you can join. If not, don't worry, we will record and post them on Judson ISD TV. Next week on Tuesday, August 18th, 2020, our Facebook Live Q&A event will focus on our Spanish speaking community. Please note our Spanish episodes will be a repeat of the questions from the previous week; we will not be taking in any new questions. All questions and answers from August 11th will be addressed in Spanish. A schedule of upcoming Facebook Live Q&A events are as follows:
- Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at 7 pm
- Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at 7 pm (Spanish)
If you missed Tuesday's event, you can view it below now!
