Team Fisher's Classroom News
Jan. 8-11
Happy New Year!
I'm so excited to get back to Team Fisher! It's been a restful break but the Fisher Family is ready for a normal routine! There will be some changes with classroom procedures. As we head to 2nd semester, the importance of student accountability and responsibility will be in full force.
- We will continue to do the workshop model in reading, math and writing. I will be putting more emphasis on student accountability during independent practice time so that I can meet the needs of all students during small groups. I will be taking more grades on classwork during that time.
- I will be doing more communication via assignment notebooks. Example: classroom reminders and behavior check-ins. So please sign assignment notebooks daily.
- We will continue to work on organizational skills. Please help your child stay organized by cleaning out their folders on a daily basis.
I am so proud of the progress Team Fisher has made thus far. We have a big semester ahead of us with state testing. I appreciate all your support and please don't ever hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns!
