SPECIAL EDITION

Grandparents Breakfast on Friday, September 30th

We have closed registration for our Grandparent's Breakfast.

Here is some information for you:

All pre-registered Grandparents must check in through the back of the school at door #10 with their ID's. (Look for the balloons.) If you do not have a physical ID, you will not be able to enter. Grandparents will not be able to enter the front doors of the school, so please follow the signs.

We will have available parking in the back parking lot for our special guests.

Please do not park directly in front of the school as we will still be conducting our regular drop off procedures. The back parking lot is the closest door to the cafeteria.

We are unable to give any change back. Please bring the exact amount in cash, $2.25 OR you can write a check. If you do not have the exact amount, we will put the change in your grandchild's lunch account.

We will also have a photo backdrop available for you to take pictures with your grandchild.

Please note that this special event is from 7:15 until 7:55 am. Breakfast will stop being served at 7:50.

All students will need to be in class by 8 am.

We are at capacity (YAY!) and will not be able to accept anyone that did not RSVP for this event due to the food being already ordered and every seat taken that RSVP'd. However, please note that you are welcome to come and eat lunch with your grandchild on another date.

Students that are not eating with a Grandparent will eat breakfast in their classrooms.

Mrs. Lasonia Russell

Thank you to all of the volunteers that have helped in any capacity. We did a drawing and have a Volunteer of the Month. Congratulations to Mrs. Ashley Cooper! Please stop by the front office to pick up your special Thank You!

Mrs. Lori Strom

Help me celebrate our Trailblazer of the Month...Mrs. Jessica Sustaita! Congratulations! This is Mrs. Sustaita's first year with us and she is doing a great job. She was nominated and received several votes by her peers to receive this recognition. Way to go!!

WatchDog Kick-Off

We are excited to have WatchDogs back on campus. This is a program where dads can come and volunteer at the school for the day to be a positive presence on our campus.

On Thursday, October 6th, we will have our WatchDog kick-off event from 5:30-6:30 in the IES cafeteria. We will provide pizza for dads and their kids that attend. Please RSVP using this link or you can scan the QR code on the flyer. Attendance is not required to volunteer as a WatchDog this year.
