End of the year activities and schedule- IMPORTANT
Last Week of School Schedule- June 12th-June16th
The schedule for the last week of school is as follows:

1. Monday, June 12th: Students will be taking finals or involved in final activities in periods “A”, 1, 3, and 5. Dismissal is at 3:10 p.m. . Eighth grade students receive their yearbook today during lunch. Distribution will be in the MPR after students get lunch. Students will clean out their book lockers during Physical Education class. Please be sure they have a backpack with them to clean out their lockers.
2. Tuesday, June 13th: Students will be taking finals or involved in final activities in periods “A”, 2, 4, and 6. Dismissal is at 3:10 p.m unless you do not have a 6th period class, then dismissal is after lunch at 1:30pm. All eighth grade textbooks and school issued chromebook should be returned by the end of the day today. Sixth and seventh grade students receive their yearbook today at lunch in the MPR. Distribution will begin after students get their lunch. Students will clean out their book lockers during Physical Education class. Please be sure they have a backpack with them to clean out their lockers.
3. Wednesday, June 14th (no “A” period for 8th grade only). Today is a regular school day for sixth and seventh grade students. All sixth and seventh grade textbooks should be returned by the end of the day. Eighth grade students report to their Advisory class for attendance and announcements. Eighth grade will participate in MANDATORY promotion practice and ALL 8th grade students will be dismissed at 2:20pm. Eighth grade students who leave early or do not attend, can not participate in Promotion.
4. Thursday, June 15th: Sixth and Seventh grade students have a regular school day (no “A” period for 8th grade students only). Eighth grade students report to their Advisory class for attendance and announcements. Eighth grade students in good standing going to Magic Mountain for the day report to the gym after attendance and then off to Magic Mountain. Their estimated time of return is 7:00 p.m. Eighth grade students not attending Magic Mountain are placed in a study hall for the day and should report to their advisory class to start their day.
5. Friday, June 16th: Minimum day for sixth and seventh grade students. Dismissal is at 11:30 a.m. In consideration of our promotion preparations, please pick up your child by 11:40 a.m. and understand that the parking lot will close at 12:00 p.m. (noon).
Eighth grade students report to the Redwood gym at 12:15 p.m. for the promotion ceremony, which begins at 1:00 p.m.
All library books are due by June 9th and textbooks are due on or before June 15th. If lost, you will be responsible for the replacement cost. The average textbook cost is $100. If payment is made for a book that is later found, a refund will be issued. In order to receive a full refund, textbooks must be returned by August 15th. 8th grade students will be required to turn in their chrome books for collection. Lost or damaged chrome books will incur a fee, similar to textbooks.
Students who do not pay cafeteria balances, return band uniforms and materials, or pay for lost or damaged library materials and textbooks, chrome books, will not receive their yearbooks. Eighth grade students with outstanding materials or balances due will not be able to participate in the Magic Mountain trip.
Items left in lockers will be donated if not picked up by Monday, June 19th, however lockers will be wiped clean (see above) and all left over items will be put in the MPR for collection.
Note: There will be an electronic summer mailer sent via email informing you of the orientation dates and times for the 2023-2024 school year. First day of school is Wednesday, August 23rd, 2023.
