From The Principal

Dear Illing families

In case you are wondering, the last day of school for Illing students will be Friday, June 24 -- which means that there are now less than two months left in the academic year. The weeks will fly by but there is still a lot left to learn and do.

As I wrote last week, we have conferences coming up the next two Wednesdays --

April 27th and May 4th from 1:45-3:15. If you would like to have a conference please contact your student's team leader, counselor, or an administrator. Here's how to reach team leaders:

7th grade

8th grade

As always, please feel free to reach out to your child's teacher, school counselor, assistant principal or me with any questions or concerns.

In partnership

Principal Idelisa Torres

Saturday School Detentions

We hope that our Saturday detention program doesn't get too busy, but for those who are curious here's how it work:

  • Saturday detentions are for students in grades 5-8 (from IMS, Bennet and MMA).
  • They are held in the Freshman Center at Manchester High.
  • Sessions generally run from 8:30-10:30 a.m.
To learn more, here's the letter that is given to parents/guardians when their children are assigned.
