Activity Description: Complete each of these activities (10 each): Stretch and touch your toes, curl, pull, balance, bend, swing turn, sway, push, twist. Question: Count to see how long you can hold each pose. Do you think you can increase the length of the pose for later in the week?
Go on Seesaw and submit video of yourself doing your favorite non locomotor movement.

Warmup: Kick City! Find a safe space where you are away from furniture. Perform 10 sidekicks, 10 front kicks, and 10 back kicks. Be sure to do 10 on each side.
Happy Baby Pose: Try and hold the pose for 15-20 seconds. Straighten your legs for an added challenge.
Activity Materials: 6-10 safe household items such as sock balls (pair of socks rolled into a ball), hats, etc.
Activity Directions: Locomotor Moves! Scatter the safe objects around a room or yard. Make sure the objects are not close to each other! Perform the activities below using the attached locomotor skill cards.
- Walk around the activity area and count the objects. Each object is worth 1 point.
- Jog in the area and count the objects. Each object is now worth 2 points.
- Gallop in the area and touch the objects with your thumb. Each object is worth 2 points.
- Skip in the area and touch the objects with your foot. Each object is worth 5 points.
- Hop over the objects in the area. Each object you hop over is worth 10 points.
- Slide from object to object and perform 2 jumping jacks at each object.
Questions:
- What was your favorite locomotor skill from the activity? Least favorite?
- Can you show 3 different locomotor skills to a family member?
Go on Seesaw and submit video of yourself doing your favorite locomotor skill and least favorite.

2nd Grade:

Dance Break: Repeat the following exercises for 30 seconds: Run in Place, High Knees, Arm Circles, Invisible Jump Rope, Jumping Jacks, and Squats. Put on your favorite song, dance the entire song. How do you feel after the song is finished? Repeat the exercise and dance break circuit for four-five songs.
Go on see Seesaw and show me your dance moves or one of the exercises for 30 seconds.

Supplies: Plain white paper; pencils; eraser; crayons, colored pencils, or markers; A black sharpie, crayon, or colored pencil. Example photos of root vegetables, teacher sample, teacher video.
Graded Weekly Assignment: Photo of finished artwork submitted to Mrs. Standard’s ART SeeSaw for your grade level.

Warm-up: Crazy 8’s! Perform 8 jumping jacks 8 silly shakes (just shake as silly as you can), 8 high knees, and 8 scissor jumps.
Dolphin Pose: Like downward dog, but on your forearms. Hold Dolphin Pose three times for 15 seconds.
Activity Materials: 6-10 safe household items that can be tossed such as sock balls, hats, etc.
Activity Directions: Mission 100. Scatter the 6-10 safe objects around a room or yard. Perform the following activities as you count to 100.
- Count 1-10: Walk to each object, toss the object straight up and then clap 1 time before it hits the floor.
- Count 11-20: Jog to each object, toss the object straight up and then clap 1 time before it hits the floor.
- Count 21-30: Gallop to each object, toss the object straight up, and try to catch it.
- Count 31-40: Skip to each object, toss the object straight up, and try to catch it.
- Count 41-50: Hop to each object, toss the object straight up, clap once, and try to catch it.
- Count 51-60: Slide to each object, toss the object straight up, clap once, and try to catch it.
- Count 61-70: Run to each object, toss the object, clap as many times as you can, try to catch it.
- Count 71-80: Leap over the different objects as you count from 71-80.
- Count 81-90: Jump to each object, toss the object, turn 360 degrees before the object hits the floor.
- Count 91-100: You choose how to travel to each object, toss the object, turn 360 degrees before the object hits the floor.
Questions: 1) What was your favorite locomotor skill from the activity? 2) What is the difference between hopping and jumping?

2nd Grade:

The student will make two dice, one with numbers 1-6 and one with locomotor skills on it. (skip, hop, jump, gallop, leap, slide, run). If the student can’t make dice, they can make two baggies of one of numbers on papers and one with locomotor on paper and pull the pieces of paper out instead of rolling the dice.
The student will do the locomotor skill around the circle the amount of times on the dice or paper. Or instead of 1-6 you could do 10seconds, 20 seconds etc.
The student will play this game for 15 minutes.
Then they will go on Seesaw and show their favorite locomotor skill.
