A Message from Mr. Anderson
A sincere thank you to the hundreds of survey responses we received from parents last week! Our administrative team has been going through the results and will be sharing the highlights to the Board of Education this Monday. Please note that this Wednesday at 5:30pm I will be holding a parent "Town Hall" meeting via Zoom to share the survey results and possible next steps moving forward to work towards engaging more students in school and the possibilities of having more students physically coming to school. A Zoom link will be emailed and texted to families during the day on Wednesday.
We are also celebrating Spirit Week this week! Check out the themes in the Smore!
This is the last week of the 2nd Marking Period. We are very excited to celebrate student growth and the endless efforts of our entire school community to keep the best interests of our students first and foremost in all of our decisions.

Panthers in Action!
School Counselor's Corner - Mrs. Sears
Hello my panthers,
I wanted to share with you a few resources from an organization called Breathe for Change. One is an attached document that teaches 3 different practices for your family wellness. One is called 3 collective breaths. Another is called two word check in. The last one is called loving kindness. All of these practices can help to prioritize your own health and well-being along with modeling it for your family. I have provided a video that explains how to do the two work check in with younger children and older children. This one is one of my favorites. If you have any questions about these practices, feel free to reach out at any time.

School Info App - Communicating with your child's teacher(s)
How to Get messages from your child's teachers: One important way to get messages from your child's teacher and to make sure that you are getting updates from the school is to go to "My Alerts". Once in "my alerts" make sure that "Enable Push Notifications" is turned on and that all of the buttons are turned "on".
Next... look at the bottom of the screen, you will see the picture of a bell next two an icon of two people. Click on the icon of the 2 people. This will then bring up teachers names along with icons to turn on notifications. Search out your child's teacher(s) and turn on those notifications.
If you would like to send your child a message, go back to the main screen and click "conversations" this then works just like text messaging on your smart phone. Make sure to put a title to the message so you know who you are sending it to when you go back to the app.
New Things!
- The student absence and Tech Help Forms are now in a button on the first page of the app! Just click and you can fill everything out on your smartphone!
A word of advice - Always check and make sure when you are in the app that you are in the correct school. Make sure that it is the Campbell Savona Elementary school:)
