All Food Service Staff - for all their hard work and willingness to come in and help with meals for our students
SCC STAFF - Being GREAT colleagues and friends during my time at SCC these 9 years. Thank you for what you do every day to serve kids, step in where no one else will, and ensure every student is given the opportunity to be GREAT.
Jenna Scheithauer - I really miss my favorite office neighbor but I'm sure she's enjoying her extra cat time as much as I'm enjoying my extra dog time :)
:) - Thankful for an early spring so we can get outside as a family. :)
:) - Thankful I got the chance to develop relationships with my students before this so we can navigate a sticky situation a little better!
Chris Buckel - Makes our wing-team laugh with his daily updates. :)
Any food delivery/preparation person - Awesome work delivering meals!!

HS staff - You guys are awesome -- sitting on the interviews this week gave many eye-opening reminders of how great our SCC HS family is. It's not like this for all teachers in all school districts. We're lucky.
Celebrate - I had some really good parent communication this week as we worked to figure out plans for students with varying needs. My heart is full!
Chris Buckel - Shares light and joy (yes, you read that right!) with our wing virtually, and it sure brightens the day. :)
John Tackmann and Tera Hinzman - They are the best at-home co-workers a person could ask for!
Courtney Hawkins - Courtney thank you so much for all you do for the CTE department and helping us with all that is Carl Perkins. With your help, we might be able to print our own school store shirts next year!
Logan Kimberly - Carried on the puzzling tradition and completed two 1000-piece puzzles. Add it to the list Dani!
Our High School Staff - I have witnessed your incredible dedication to our students and each other. The staff at SCC truly loves their students and will always go the extra mile - especially when it's difficult. The service and personal connections you are making with our students, families, and each other do not go unnoticed. THANK YOU!

MESSAGES
Hey guys! It’s Milinda and here’s what’s been going on during my quarantine... The kids, pup Ollie, and I went to Houston TX to stay with my husband, Marvin for a couple weeks. That has now been extended, which gives us a little more time with him. Fortunately, there is a pool here, so we’ve been able to utilize that to fight boredom and insanity. The kids also have video games, card games, family board games and their school work to pass the time. Everyone is healthy as far as we know and getting along most of the time. They miss school and friends and I miss work, coworkers, the students and of course the coffee shop. I hope you’re all doing well.
Pespective During These Simple (boring) Times

When describing memories with his Dad...
"...that might sound boring but I think the boring stuff is the stuff I remember the most." - Russell
Take time to enjoy the boring stuff.
