Holiday Cheer Starts Here!

SHS and SMS will be showcasing their holiday cheer December 13th! This is no ordinary choir concert, there will be lights, paintings(made by SMS Art Club), and holiday music. There has been a time change for the concert. It is now at 7:30 PM and not 7PM. The concert will be in McClain Hall at SHS. Please know that there will be fast changing lights. If you or someone you know is sensitive, please be aware that our last piece involves fast changing lights. Hope to see you there!

Students See Prosser

The Class of 2019 (sophomores) were recently invited to tour Prosser Career Center in New Albany. Interested sophomores got a tour of the programs housed at the Prosser building on Charlestown Road. Applications for Prosser programs are available to sophomores in the SHS Guidance Office. These completed applications are due back into guidance by Tuesday, December 20, 2016.

Most Prosser programs are two year programs for a student's junior and senior year. However, some Prosser programs are also open to current juniors for their senior year. Juniors interested in starting a Prosser program next year need to arrange a time to meet with their guidance counselor to talk about this plan. SHS Prosser students attend 1/2 of their day at SHS and 1/2 of the day at Prosser. Any students interested in attending Prosser should consider traveling to the Prosser Open House on January 19 from 5:30 - 7:30pm at 4202 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. More information about Prosser can be found at
