Good evening Spartans,

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving break and were able to spend some quality time with your family and friends. As we return to school, it's important for us to recognize that we only have fifteen school days left in the semester, with the last five days being finals week These next three weeks will be very busy with winter holiday performances, winter season athletics along with everything else we all have going on in our lives. Let's make sure we take the time to focus on academics and finish the semester strong.

If students need additional academic support, aside from our before/after school program tutoring, many of our teachers will be offering tutoring sessions after school, during lunch and some even the next two Saturdays. If students are struggling academically, they should check in with their teachers to see what they can do to get the help they need to finish strong.

Let's keep working together to have a great end to our Fall semester.

Congratulations to our very own Spartan Legion Marching Band and Color Guard for their top five finish at this year's SCSBOA State Championship Tournament. Our Spartans finished in 4th place and represented us with pride and honor. Congratulations to Mr. Doerr, Mr. Barton and all of the students!

Spartan Students we invite you to join Chula Vista High School's After School Programs! All programs are available for FREE! You can also stop by and have some fun at the Vault located in the Youth Center. The Vault has pool, air hockey, foosball, PS4, Switch, arcade games and more!!!!! **EVERYTHING IS FREE!!!!!!!**

Our morning hours will be from 7:15-8:15 AM (students will need to enter through Youth Center entrance at 465 L Street).

Our afternoon hours will be from 3:39-5:30 PM every day. We are also open during 7th/8th period for those students who are unscheduled.
