Today’s Photos of the Day (3 Photos)
Today, take a photo of your child watching the “Read Aloud” book. Also, take a picture of your child’s writing assignment, and your child’s math assignment. No other photos are needed. Post the 3 photos in SeeSaw by the end of the day.
Read Aloud (10 minutes)
Take a picture of your child listening to this story and upload the picture to SeeSaw. Listen to the Read Aloud “Does a Kangaroo Have a Mother too?” at the following link:
Respond to Reading (15 minutes)
Discuss the following questions about this book with a parent:
-What animals did you see in this book?
-Where might you go to see these animals in real life?
Draw a picture of an animal from this book that you wish you could see in real life. Write a sentence about that animal.

Independent Reading (20 minutes) RAZ kids and Myon
If you have extra time in your 20 minutes, log into Myon and read books there.
Writing (25 minutes)
Think about Character class with Mrs. Jopling. She talked about how being kind is very important. Write and draw how you were being kind today. Remember to use your best handwriting. Share your writing with someone at home. Take a picture of your writing and upload it to SeeSaw.

Activity- Review all the sh words that were mentioned in the video. Using materials found around your house (playdoh, cereal, beans, paper, crayons, etc) create something that has the sh sound in it. Example: create a shark out of playdoh or draw and color one on paper, create a ship out of cereal or legos. Take a picture of your creation!
