Registration for Family Faith 2022 Begins!
Registration for Family Faith 2022 open! We hope our Family Faith Formation 2022 will provide greater opportunities for family sharing and meeting together. Beginning in January, we will start our program virtually with weekly newsletters and monthly zoom meeting. Since the weather is too cold to meet in-person outside, depending on the progress of the pandemic, we will explore different options to meet inside. Hopefully, by the spring time, our goal is to transition from monthly zoom meetings to in-person classes, similar to our Family Faith Program prior to the pandemic.
We hope you will join us in growing your family's faith during our next year that starts in January 2022! To register your child for Family Faith Religious Education 2022, please complete and submit this form. Kindly note the following:
-Registration includes 3 items:
STEP 1: Complete and submit this online registration form.
STEP 2: Payment for family
$70 - 1 Child/1 Parent

Mass Readings for Sunday, November 14, Thirty-third Sunday in Ordinary Time
In this weekend's Gospel, called the Parable of the Fig Tree, Jesus tells us to be watchful and waiting as we prepare in faith for His eventual return, His second coming.
The end of this liturgical year is marked by the start of the Advent season on Sunday, November 28. During Advent, we are preparing our hearts to celebrate Jesus' birth and coming in this world. This reading helps us to recognize that we are eagerly awaiting the celebration of Christmas as the original coming of Jesus to Earth, but we also look forward to His eventual return.
In this passage, we remember that no one knows when that Second Coming will be, so we remain alert in faith and prepare for the “great someday.” We are waiting with hopeful in longing for Christ’s return. There is beauty in God’s promises and the assurance that we can rely on Him. We understand and accept that things might change, pass away, and seem to crumble around us. But we know that the Word of God remains, no matter what. We can find peace in knowing that the Lord will protect us and love us, whatever else happens in the world.
Activities for Family
Family Advent Wreath
The season of Advent begins November 28 and ends prior to Christmas on December 24. During these four weeks, we are waiting and preparing our hearts for Jesus' coming.
Perhaps the best-known of all Advent symbols is the Advent wreath. An Advent wreath consists of four candles, three purple and one pink, arranged in a circle of evergreen. Each candle corresponds to the four Sundays of Advent. The purple represents patience and waiting of the season, while the pink candle represents the joy and celebration of Christmas arriving soon. Sometimes, an additional white candle is arranged in the center and is lit on Christmas Day.
During our November Zoom Meetings this week, we will learn more about the season of Advent. Below are examples of Advent Wreath crafts that children can create at home to remember and celebrate these weeks in Advent!

Dancing His Way into Heart Surgery
Not only was this brave little boy going into heart surgery, but he danced his way there!
Heading in for a transplant heart surgery, this adorable boy danced his way into surgery (even holding the door for the nurses!) at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Florida.
